On August 4 at 4 p.m., the second rally against the dumping of Fukushima nuclear contaminated water into the sea was organized by Overseas Candlelight Action Hamburg in front of St. Petri Church, located in the center of Hamburg, between the city hall and the main station. The event was attended by about 25 compatriots and locals, and included a march through the city's touristy center.

The focus of the rally was to criticize the silence of the German government, media, environmental organizations, and even the Green Party on the dumping of Fukushima nuclear contaminated water at sea, as well as to raise awareness of the issue among citizens who know little about it.
