At the Gwangju YMCA, the Gwangju Religious Peace Conference (Korean Christian Federation, Buddhist Federation of Gwangju, Catholic Diocese of Gwangju, Won Buddhist Environmental Coalition of Gwangju, Ch'ŏndogyo Diocese of Gwangju, National Judo Association Gwangju Hyanggyo) and the Gwangju Jeonnam Joint Action Against Japanese Radioactive Contaminated Water and Marine Dumping held a press conference for a joint declaration by the religious communities.
