On July 17th, around 200 Japanese people had a rally at Onahama Beach Park of Iwaki city, Fukushima prefecture in response to Japanese Ocean Day.

In the evening of July 17th, there was a public hearing in Koriyama city, Fukushima prefecture, organized by TEPCO and the Japanese government. It was the first public hearing.
